What we believe - Doctrinal Statements
Thank you for your interest in our doctrinal statement. Some might protest that doctrine is bad or causes division. However, doctrine is important just as truth is divided from error and good teaching from bad.
The statement below is an abridged summary of the full statement. These statements are taken from this ministry's parent church. The full version is the second article of Flagstaff Christian Fellowship's constitution.
When participating in ministry, it is important to know the beliefs of the institution where one participates. It is also important to understand where we must agree: on the person (identity and nature) and work of Jesus Christ and His means for our salvation. These are primary issues. It is equally important to understand where differing thoughts or beliefs are acceptable. These are the secondary issues that do not affect primary issues.
Note (added by the CG Leadership): The College Group at FCF is a ministry under, and accountable to, Flagstaff Christian Fellowship. The college ministry is not a para-church. One of our major foci is to provide opportunity for college students to be part of a church family. Our desire is that it would be a home-away-from-home. This is an opportunity to stand on one's own feet in church-family participation and perhaps find a new, future home church.

Our Purpose & Vision
FCF exists to show how great God is by helping each person & family grow in fervent love for God, love for one another and for those without Christ, both locally & globally. We seek to accomplish this through the proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and through the careful teaching and practice of God's Word of Truth.
One of our main goals is that our church families would be a lighthouse to the nearby university community, including the International students.
We Believe . . .
1.The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, authoritative for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16).
2.The one true God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:19).
3.Jesus Christ offered Himself as our substitute on the cross (1 Peter 2:24) and His shed blood paid the penalty for our sin (Romans 3:21-26).
4.Our Lord Jesus Christ was bodily resurrected (1 Corinthians 15:4) and that His return is imminent (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
5.All who receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior by faith are declared righteous by God on the basis of Jesus' shed blood and receive eternal life as a free gift (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 2:8-9).
6.All believers are to walk by the Spirit, not the flesh, performing good deeds which glorify Christ (Galatians 5:16-26; Ephesians 2:10)
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."
